Privacy and referral disclosure

Referral disclosure

Company Data Advisors is an independent brokerage. We are not owned by, and do not act as an agent of, any buyer we introduce you to, and no buyer endorses this website.

Participating buyers may pay us referral fees. A fee may be paid when an introduction we coordinate results in an application, an accepted dataset or a completed transaction, and the amount can differ between buyers. Because of this, we have a financial interest in introductions that lead to deals.

Before we introduce you to a specific buyer, we will tell you whether we have, or expect to have, a referral arrangement with that buyer. Some buyers require you to register yourself using our referral link so the referral can be attributed to us.

Our buyer relationships are still being established, and we work with a limited set of companies. We do not guarantee eligibility, an introduction, an offer or any payout, and we cannot promise the best price available across the entire market. You are free to approach any buyer directly.

What we collect

Contact details you provide: name, role, work email and optional phone number.
Company information: name, website, industry, headquarters country, status, employee counts, years of records, systems used, authority over the records, prior buyer activity and any context you add.
Your consent choices and when you made them.
Call scheduling details, such as preferred times and time zone, or booking confirmations from our scheduler.
Basic technical and attribution data: campaign parameters, referral codes, the page you arrived on, a one-way hash of your IP address (used for abuse prevention) and your browser’s user-agent string.

We do not ask for files, raw operating data, passwords or account connections through this website. Please don’t include personal information about your customers or employees in free-text answers.

How we use it

To review your inquiry, assess whether a buyer may be a fit and contact you about it.
To arrange and hold introductory calls.
To coordinate introductions you have approved and to track their outcome.
To prevent spam and abuse of our forms.
To send occasional updates, only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

We do not share your profile with any buyer until you approve that specific, named buyer. We record each approval. You can withdraw an approval at any time for future sharing by emailing us. Once a buyer has received information with your approval, their handling of it is governed by their own terms and privacy policy.

We do not sell your contact details.

Service providers

We use service providers to run this website and our operations, including hosting, our database, email delivery and call scheduling. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide those services.
